1st time travelling interstate from Lagos-Oshogbo taught me a few things.
Some portions of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway that has been fixed is pure joy to ride on. It will be beautiful when its finished.
Its absolutely insane to ride a power bike without a full helmet and visor (u needed to see the number of flying insects and butterflies that died quick deaths on my visor,Jacket & Boots. Can’t they just look before they cross an express?lol) made 2 stops at Ibadan to buy water to wash the poor visor.
A Scrambler is certainly built for travel. Although my Bandit is a lot faster, the Scrambler handles bad roads with ease (and the bad roads are many o. This is Nigeria after all) and it coasts over them at 80km/hr and I gbolahandon’t feel a thing, thus giving me an overall faster travel time and greater comfort.
Policemen have a fascination for Bikers, so instead of stopping me at all their road blocks, they were hailing me as I saluted them and sped past.
Lagos-Oshogbo 3 1/2hrs
Oshogbo-Lagos 2 1/4hrs (Well, I wasn’t constantly stopping to ask for directions on my way back!)
Lagos is insanely hot because we have such little vegetation in this megacity. The chillness of Oshogbo was refreshing due to so many trees.
So pls PLANT A TREE TODAY!!!
