A Los Angeles, California-based comedian is putting his tummy where his mouth is with a flexible belly button that can blow a kiss. TikTok clips showcasing his umbilical gymnastics have gone viral online.
“I grew up on a farm without cable,” Henry Drayton, 27, told Caters News Agency about the inspiration for his stomach-smacking stunt, which he reportedly perfected by messing “around in the mirror.”
A 30-second YouTube compilation shows Drayton retracting and extending his belly button so that it parrots puckering up for a smooch. His umbilicus protrudes so far each time that it evokes Freddy Krueger coming through the wall in “Nightmare in Elm Street.”
Abdominal makeout sessions are among a “variety of weird things” that the human Gumby can do with his body, Drayton said.
In another clip on TikTok with 18,000 views, he demonstrates stretching his skin like Silly Putty, dislocating his shoulder, kicking himself in the head and other abilities that seem more befitting of a “Men in Black” alien than a human.
Social media had mixed reactions to Drayton’s physics-defying talents.
“What the hell,” said one aghast gawker.
“You win. I’m uninstalling this app,” quipped another.
“Lol, invest in this stock y’all,” gushed one newfound fan. “This guy’s gonna go more viral.”
Another said, “You are giving me Jim Carrey vibes.”
“50% of people laugh, 50% are disgusted,” said the comic-cum-contortionist.
One inquisitive commenter even asked if Drayton had let anyone snort cocaine off his belly button, to which the influencer replied, “I’m glad you asked. Yes.”
